Sonora's tubular bells produce a soothing melodious tone with outstanding resonance.
The 21 tubular bells are made from hand-tuned, heavy-duty anodized aluminum and are each mounted individually over black anodized aluminum resonators, which are equally precisely tuned. Each resonator is individually capped with a polyurethane rain baffle. Finally, stainless steel security fixings deter vandalism and prevent the theft or removal of the instrument.
Sonora can be wall-mounted or affixed to posts for easy installation on any surface. The elegant design is loosely based on the Percussion Play Duo with a wave effect produced by parallel notes ascending from the center outwards.
Its elegant shape and visual appeal make Sonora ideal for use in attractions such as museums, zoos, and heritage sites, as well as community projects or music therapy.
