How It Works
Resembling the iconic Monarch butterfly - renowned for its incredible multi-generational migration and vital role as a pollinator and environmental health indicator - the Butterfly hides a musical surprise within its wings. Each of the four wings conceals a pair of bells arranged in parallel fifths: Wing 1: E6 & B6 | Wing 2: F6 & C7 | Wing 3: D6 & A6 | Wing 4: C6 & G6
Together, these eight notes form a C6–C7 diatonic scale. Players activate the bells by gently pressing or pushing the wings, creating bright, resonant tones that invite intuitive, hands-on play without the need for mallets.
